How marketing operations automation is governed

What marketing and content operations automation involves

This is not bulk unsolicited messaging or a promise to “automate your brand voice.” It is operational discipline: briefs captured consistently, drafts moving through review states, assets tagged and approved, publish steps checked, and reporting assembled from sources you authorise. AI may draft outlines or summarise performance; humans approve customer-facing copy and channel choices unless you define narrow template-only auto-publish rules.

Engagements are individually scoped. Starting prices are published on our pricing page. We do not sell fixed campaign packages or guarantee viral reach.

Problems this addresses

  • Campaign tasks live in scattered chats, boards and email threads with no single status view.
  • Reviews slow publishing unpredictably because approvers are unclear or reminders are manual.
  • Client or stakeholder reporting is rebuilt manually every month from disconnected exports.
  • Creative work repeats briefing conversations because templates are not structured.
  • Publishing checklists are skipped under pressure, causing broken links or wrong channels.

How it works in practice

We map your content lifecycle, from idea or client brief through draft, legal or brand review, scheduling and post-publish checks. Automation creates tasks, notifies owners, blocks stage transitions when required fields are empty, and logs approvals. Integrations pull analytics from authorised platforms into recurring summary documents or dashboards for human narrative, not auto-generated claims without review. Publishing integrations respect API limits and rollback procedures.

Agency contexts benefit especially; see agencies and marketing teams. Distinct from SEO & Digital Intelligence, which focuses on search technical health and improvement backlogs, not campaign choreography.

What can be automated

  • Structured brief templates with required audience, offer, deadline and asset fields.
  • Review chains with timeouts, delegations and audit of who approved which version.
  • Pre-publish checklists: links, UTM parameters, alt text flags, locale confirmation.
  • Status visibility for clients or internal stakeholders via controlled views.
  • Recurring performance summaries compiled from authorised analytics and ads sources.
  • Reminders for content calendar gaps or expiring seasonal assets.

Process design example

An agency delivers social, email and landing pages for hospitality clients. Previously, account managers chased designers in chat for status; monthly reports took a day each. The redesigned flow: every client request enters a brief record tied to contract scope; tasks auto-assign by content type; brand and client approvers receive sequential notifications with diff-friendly links; publish step requires checklist completion; scheduled posts queue only after dual approval; monthly report drafts aggregate metrics from connected analytics with commentary sections left for humans. Creative concepts remain human-led, automation removes ambiguity about where each asset sits in the pipeline.

Integrations and data

Project tools, DAM or shared drives, CMS, social schedulers, email platforms and analytics may connect via AI Workflow Integration. Credentials are scoped; client data segregation is enforced where multi-tenant agencies require it. Consent and advertising policies remain your responsibility; we implement workflows you approve.

Editorial approval before publish

Customer-facing copy, offers, pricing and partnership announcements require human approval by default. AI drafts are labelled and editable. Legal or brand rejections loop with reasons captured for learning, not blame. See Human Approval in AI Workflows.

Technical considerations

API rate limits affect bulk scheduling. Locale and time zone errors break campaigns; we test them. Asset versioning must map to approved files only. Rollback plans cover mistaken publishes.

Implementation process

  1. Lifecycle mapping with marketing, creative and approval stakeholders.
  2. Tool integration plan and role matrix.
  3. Staging pilot on one client or brand line.
  4. Training emphasising discipline over software features.
  5. Expansion to additional channels after trusted metrics on cycle time and error rate.

Editorial teams rightly resist automation that feels like it flattens voice or bypasses brand guardians. We therefore co-design states that make review visible, who is holding a draft, what changed since last approval, which checklist items remain open, rather than hiding work inside a black-box scheduler. When AI assists, outputs land in editable fields with attribution, and publish connectors stay disabled until approvers explicitly release. That discipline is what separates operations automation from spam machinery; it is also why we scope integrations to your existing stack instead of selling a replacement marketing cloud.

Brief, draft and publish QA

Dry-run publishes in sandbox CMS or scheduler; checklist enforcement tests; report reconciliation against source dashboards. Common automation mistakes, such as measuring vanity metrics, are avoided in favour of cycle time and rework counts.

Seasonal and campaign support

New clients, platform API changes and seasonal template updates are typical support items, defined per proposal. We review notification fatigue so approvers stay responsive.

Marketing automation we do not overclaim

Automation does not create strategy or guarantee engagement outcomes. We do not publish unverified client logos or performance claims. Poor brief quality in, poor content out, workshops may precede tooling. Heavy creative experimentation still belongs in human hands.

Marketing Automation starting price

Development from €1,200 One-time starting implementation fee

Ongoing management from €190/month Optional starting monthly fee

A focused workflow for coordinating repetitive marketing administration, content preparation or approved campaign processes.

Ongoing management covers the agreed monitoring, maintenance and support requirements of your implemented solution. Final monthly fees depend on the systems, integrations and level of support required.

Ongoing management is optional. Documented handover without managed service is available when that arrangement suits your team.

What the starting development price covers

  • One defined marketing workflow.
  • Supported application connection.
  • Scheduling or review logic.
  • Human approval where appropriate.
  • Basic reporting or operational visibility.
  • Testing and handover.

Multi-channel campaign orchestration, advanced analytics and ongoing content production are separately quoted.

What ongoing management typically covers

Standard ongoing management covers the agreed maintenance and monitoring of the implemented solution. Each proposal identifies the covered systems, monitoring approach, corrective-work allowance, support hours or windows, reporting rhythm, usage limits and whether hosting is included. Unlimited support, unlimited AI usage and 24/7 coverage are not included unless expressly agreed. New features, additional integrations, API fees and AI model usage are quoted separately. For SEO & Digital Intelligence, monthly management covers the agreed analytics and reporting implementation, not a full SEO retainer.

What affects the final project cost

Workflow complexity, number of integrations, API quality, data requirements, security and permissions, interfaces, testing depth, and support obligations all influence the final quotation. Development and monthly management are never combined into a single published total.

Business Consultation & Discovery: €500

The full consultation fee is credited toward the related one-time development project when the agreement is signed within 30 calendar days of receiving the completed assessment. Discovery credit does not apply to ongoing monthly management fees.

Published prices show one-time starting development fees and starting ongoing management fees (/month). They exclude applicable taxes. Final invoices reflect the applicable tax rules for your customer type and place of supply.

/Q&A

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as Mailchimp or HubSpot marketing hubs?

Those are products with their own licensing. We orchestrate your chosen tools and custom steps, not resell a single marketing cloud unless you ask us to integrate one you already pay for.

Can AI write all our social posts?

AI can draft against your guidelines; publication remains human-approved unless you explicitly scope narrow template categories.

Do you handle paid ads automation?

Reporting and approval workflows yes; media buying strategy and spend decisions remain with your team or specialist partners.

How does this relate to SEO work?

SEO & Digital Intelligence focuses on search visibility and technical improvement backlogs, not campaign operations. Many teams use both, scoped separately.
